Mobile Misadventures 1

This is take one, hopefully it works out, this was just my weekend for now, i had more pics but i screwed up while uploading and ended up deleting some that i wanted hahaha, enjoy.

FRIDAY

My journey started off in the streets of downtown LV at an event they have every first friday of the month aptly titled "first friday" haha with my new friend Alex and her friends. Its kind of like the arts walk in LA or Riverside, theres alot of street vendors, they have a gallery full of art for everyone to see which is pretty cool.

During our walk through the gallery there were these paintings that looked like preschool art, and my first thoughts were "people actually buy this crap" then i saw that it actually was made by a kid and felt a little dumb. we left the gallery and wondered the streets for a bit, after about an hour we had seen all there was to see so decided to get something to eat.

We ended up down the street at a place called pepes tacos, i got to know Alex and her friends a bit better, especially cause i was high, Gladys and Lindsey were planning to head to a bar, and i seemed to be the only one without a fake id, and underage. So they left and we continued waiting for our food....which ended up taking like 40 mins, i think they forgot about us. It got later and we got bored so we headed back to my house to watch a movie, we got high and ended up forgetting about the movie and just spent most of the night talking shit about reality tv, it was about 3am and i had to take alex home, which sucked because she lives really far. On my way back i got lost several times and had to call her at leas 9 times hahaha that was friday.

SATURDAY

My day started off with my brother in law asking for a ride to the mall since my sister has school on saturdays and his truck only seats 2, plus its nice to get out of the house and see what this place has to offer. So me him and my neice piled in my car and headed to the mall so that he could get pictures of peoples hair for his photo project.

This particular mall has fashion shows like disney has parades, every hour or so, and we had got there just in time, the stage comes out of no where which i thought was pretty cool, i had better pictures of it coming up but got deleted, we cruised around the mall for a while, which is a pretty high end mall with some clean ass stores and i came across these.

These are sick, simple as that. We left the mall and were in search of comics,On the way there we found a pretty sick little yard.

i put up a bunch more but like a dumbass i deleted the flicks, after we checked out the yard we continued on our hunt for comics, the store that we usually like to go to decided to close 15 mins early so we were off to the next.

we came up on this place which some people would say "wow thats alot of comics" but if you really read comics, this place didnt have shit.

I thumbed through some of my favorites to see if they had any back issues i need, no luck, my brother in law got what he needed and i picked up a last one i needed for one of my series, after that we headed home. A while later Alex came over and we try to find something to do, after about an hour of calls and nothing going on we decided to just stay in, we headed to my car and smoked a few bowls. When we came back in we watched the finally of ABDC

startling upset, fly kicks should have won, hahahaha.

we ate a bunch of M&M's, and when our container was empty we talked about how good soft served and M&M's would be, and i reminded alex how she owed me ice cream from getting us lost the night before, so we got in her car and headed to sonic.

jr candy sundaes are the best, too bad i had to pay even though SHE owed ME! hahaahah. We got back home and chilled for a while watching tv, then clerks came on, it was late as fuck and we were both too high to even stay awake so alex went home and that was saturday.

SUNDAY

I started my day the greatest way possible, wake and bake sesh while everyone else was at the outlets.

I didnt do shit for a few hours, then Alex called me up to see if i wanted to go over and hang out,

we chilled and talked shit about reality shows again, and tried to think of something to do, we couldnt think of anything so we went to the local record shop, we looked around to see if there was anything good, Alex ended up grabbing spun, i had never seen it so i was pretty psyched. On the way back home i called in my ice cream win and making her pay, so we stopped at mcdonalds and got some hot fudge sundays

While we were chillen i noticed her dog was acting hella weird and just scratching at everything, i asked what was up and i guess the dog went blind because of kanine diabetes or something, nicest dog i ever met though.

we watched spun, which was a pretty crazy ass movie, i met Alex's sister, a bit younger but also very cool. The movie ended and we chilled for a while longer.

We watched Chelsey lately and talked about how jews have big boobs and big noses, then made fun of chewy for a while, it was almost 2 so i decided to head home, on the way i missed my exit and had to cruise around the strip trying to get back to the freeway, i got home around 230 and just crashed. That was my weekend, expect more mobile misadventures to come.

Mobile Adventures...prologue

So i was sitting here earlier today and i got this idea, its been done before but i think ill join the masses, I'm going to start a blog about my daily or weekly, possibly monthly, adventures that i go on through out my long strange journey in Las Vegas. I plan to document this with only my mobile phone. I plan to do this whenever i go somewhere interesting, or worthy of some sort of explanation and photo journalism. I should have one up within a few hours gonna do some exploring and i have a few pics from last nights, first Friday.

Pedal

As i recently became very interested in the fixed gear bike scene, i started to look into fixie vids to see what they had to offer, a while back i came upon a movie called pedal. Its all about New York bike messengers. Watching this video made me gain so much respect for these guys and gals and what they do, NYC has crazy weather and these people are out there day after day, in the hottest of days to the coldest of blizzards for meager wages, if you, like me are into fixies or good movies, you should definately check this out, it will change your life or at least your perspective on somethings, its wonderfully put together and is filmed guerrilla style mostly by a guy on a skateboard and has a great soundtrack by Bronx Monx. Its by director Peter Sutherland, who also co-directed a movie called Stoked which some of you might be familiar with, about the 80s skateboarding scene and the rise and fall of Mark "gator" Rogowski. I love this movie so much id like everyone to see it so here it is. enjoy

its about an hour but very worth it.

Seth Rogen And The "neo" Effect

As you know Seth Rogen is one of the funniest Jew frowed actors in our time, yet lately with his mainly Evan Goldberg directed films he has "Neo'ed" himself. What i mean by that if your a complete retard is, look at Keanu Reeves career after the matrix, every movie no matter what its about he is the savior of everything, and now Seth Rogen has fallen into that category. In every movie he is either the pothead that learns a lesson or like the drunk pothead that learns a lesson and it has become a bit tiresome to me, but its sad because he has done some very substantial things in his career that are little known to many people. His new upcoming movie "Observe And Report" about a mall cop who falls in love with a girl who works at the mall, and is attacked by a flasher, so he takes it upon himself to find this person and make the mall a better place, prove to that girl that hes not just some loser, and hopefully get her to love him back. Just typing that i got bored, it doesn't sound too funny to me personally. Hopefully he gets out of the "neo"slump and get back to his usual funny self.

Random Gaming Goodness

This is, in my opinion, the greatest game in the history of games, i first started playing this game about two or so years ago with two of my friends, in the beginning i was basically a punching bag for the two of and i couldn't figure out how they were so good. Later i started to know the game better, found a better team, and now i consider myself a master of the game. The two friends that once kicked the crap out of me i now make my bitch for hours on end with the same quarter. I'm a very competitive person when it comes to this game, so whenever i hear that my friends play I'm always up for a challenge, recently i found out two of my good friends also play my game, one of them is clam jams own David, he seems to think that he stands a chance against me, i highly doubt that but ill let him hold on to some hope, my other friend baby dick is a frequent street fighter player but plays more of the capcom vs snk, which is in my opinion the shittiest of the capcom vs series games. As of now i have yet to get my chance to destroy the two of them but i have a feeling in a few weeks ill be taking on baby dick, and if not by the next holiday then by the summer when on our fixie excursion David and i shall have a match. New Bike Project

Alright so recently i have become really interested in bikes, fixies mostly,i had a bike that i had planned to work on and turn into a fixie from a single speed but that perticular bike was more trouble then it was worth, so a little trip to the local good will changed all that, and with 20 bucks i got a perfect framed shimano 12 speed that i plan to make fixed gear. Im not very bike savvy and im very much on the broke side with the economy being the way it is so i searched around the web to see if i could do something myself, after a while i came across this video and it inspired me.


This fowl mouth, poor vocabulary using guy, made his own fixie spending little to no money and using NO special bike tools like the rest of the sites say that you need. I have already started my project and another blog with my progress will be coming shortly

Alright i know i have been out of commission for sometime now, like the clam jams team i have been having computer problems, the reason i got into this whole site was my trumpet buddy David(that is no kind of gay reference, get your mind out the gutter). And since i started hes become pretty involved in my posts and when i started to fall behind you can guess who was the first person to come bitching at me, hahahaha. But I'm back now and to show David I'm dedicated i will have at least 5 blogs within this weekend, probably another tonight. Your welcome David love you sis hahaha
